Traditional rulers in Kaduna raise alarm over herdsmen invasion

Traditional rulers in Southern Kaduna have raised the alarm over armed herdsmen’s invasion of their land. They have cried out that as at 1pm yesterday, some unidentified herdsmen invaded different communities, burning down houses and property worth millions of naira.

They claimed that about four persons were killed by the marauders before they fled the communities.

It was also added that the herdsmen engaged the military in a gun battle before they escaped, with no casualties on their side.

As at press time, a security officer confirmed that, the community was carrying out the funeral of those killed.
