Ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration on Friday September 1, Ogun State Traffic Management Agency, TRACE, has reminded the public that the Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, will hold same day.
Similarly, the Power Must Change Hand of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM comes up on Saturday 2, while the annual Ojude-Oba Festival at Ijebu-Ode, is scheduled for Sunday, 3 September.
In a traffic advisory issued on Tuesday by its spokesman, Babatunde Akinbiyi, TRACE said the “coincidence of these ccelebrations and religious programmes suggests an increase in the volume of human and vehicular traffic, especially along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with its attendant traffic challenges”.
”In this regard, motorists plying the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, but who are not attending the aforementioned religious programmes and are in haste, are advised to please make use of the following alternative routes:
”Sango Ota-Ifo-Abeokuta-Sagamu/Interchange-Ijebu/Ode-Benin/Ore Expressway.
”Victoria Island-Lekki-Epe-Ijebu/Ode-Benin/Ore Expressway.
”Ikorodu-Itoikin-Benin/Ore Expressway.
”Mowe Ofada-Sagamu/Interchange-Ijebu/Ode-Benin/Ore Expressway”.
