Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea has hailed his side’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League fixture played on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the match in the first half, latching onto a long pass from Paul Pogba to finish past goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris.
De Gea, speaking after the game, tried to highlight the team’s overall display.
The Spain international, who made eleven saves against Spurs, won the Man of the Match award.
“We won the game against a top team, we controlled the first half but in the second half they had chances,” De Gea told Sky Sports.
“I was feeling very well with the first two saves, it was a great game. I don’t even remember some of the saves so I can’t pick a best.
“The manager brought some happiness, the players are playing well and the team is very strong now. This is the real Manchester United.”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are currently on sixth position on the Premier League table with 41 points from 22 games.
United will now tackle Brighton on Saturday in their next Premier League fixture.
