A query letter issued by Toro Local Government in Bauchi State to one Lukman Umar for being involved in “partisan politics on social media” particularly for supporting Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, has surfaced online.
The letter, signed and duly stamped by the Director of Works and Housing Department, was seen by our correspondent on Facebook.
The query posted on Monday by a user, Mike Odeholonta, has been generating comments and is being shared across social media platform.
According to the error-filled “QUIRY LETTER”, Umar was accused of snubbing a senior management committee meeting at the local government council chamber of Toro LG.
The director also pointed out that the staff has refused to stop supporting the “faction” of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
It is unclear what disciplinary action was taken against Umar as apparently, only one page of the query letter leaked.
