Former president Goodluck Jonathan and Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), sat side-by-side on Friday at the wedding of Halimat, last daughter of Ibrahim Babangida.
This is probably the first time the duo would be that close for hours since Tinubu led the APC team to oust Jonathan from power in 2015.
Jonathan who was already seated before Tinubu arrived stood to exchange pleasantries with the former Lagos governor.
Babangida is a former Nigeria military head of state.
Halimat got married to a businessman and sarkin Sudan of Gombe, Auwal Abdullai.
Among the big wigs in the society at the wedding conclude: Senate President Bukola Saraki; Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakuba Dogara; and former Vice President Namadi Sambo, Ismaila Funtua, billionaire businessman and several serving and former state governors.
