Three teenagers were killed by a mysterious thunder at Ijale Ijaka Street in Ijoun, Ayetoro area of Ogun state during a heavy down pour on Saturday.
The victims, identified as Sunday Mulero,13, Dare Olaifa,15 and Sodiq Segun, 15, who were rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident were confirmed dead on arrival. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi who confirmed their deaths revealed that the young boys were “playing “outside their house when the thunder struck and killed them instantly.
“The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State; CP Ikemefuna Okoye also confirmed the report, and described the incident as unfortunate.
