Bwala said since the emergence of the Boko Haram insurgency, a lot of schools burnt down by suspected terrorists were renovated while others were still undergoing renovation with the scarce resources of the state Government.

He said the State Government has reiterated its commitment to end the hostilities, by opening another door for possible dialogue with the sect, and wondered why violence still persists in the state. He stressed that the state government was willing and ready to dialogue with the Boko Haram sect in order to restore peace back to the state.

As at the time of filing in this report, no group has claimed responsibility of the attack yet, but some factions of the Boko Haram sect had claimed responsibility of similar attacks in the past.
