Three players Conte will buy in August revealed

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, is looking to sign the trio of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alex Sandro and Ross Barkley next month.

Conte still wants to strengthen his squad this summer, after bringing in only Willy Caballero, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.

Liverpool lead the chase for Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has just a year left on his Arsenal contract. The player is keen to leave the Emirates, in search of regular first-team action in his favoured central midfield role.

At up to £70million, 26-year-old Sandro remains on course to break Chelsea’s transfer record for a second time this season.

Italian champions Juventus are battling to keep the Brazilian at the club, but he has so far refused to sign a new deal and wants to work with Conte.

Everton boss, Ronald Koeman, has made it clear Barkley will leave Goodison this summer.

Asked on Wednesday if it was certain the 23-year-old would go, Koeman replied: “Yes, 100 per cent. I knew this already from the end of last season.

“We made a really good offer to him to sign a new contract, he declined that contract and told me that he is looking for a new challenge.”
