Three killed, four injured in Ogun auto crashes

Three people, on Sunday were reportedly crushed to death, while four others sustained varying degrees of injuries in two separates auto crashes that occurred on Abeokuta-Sagamu and Papalanto- Ilaro roads in Ogun State.

The two ugly incidents were confirmed by the Itori Unit Commander of Federal Road Safety Commission,FRSC, Mr Fatai Bakare.

Mr Bakare said that both accidents happened at the early hours of Sunday.

According to him, “Two people died on Papalantoro-Ilaro road when a Nissan Car with registration number LAGOS , LND 121 BH lost control and rammed into a commercial motorbike, killing the rider and his passenger.

“But only one person died on Abeokuta-Sagamu road when two articulated vehicles with registration number LAGOS, XU 320 LND and LAGOS 777 FST had a head-on collision around LAFRAGE Cement Company of the expressway.

“All the victims of both accidents were males and their bodies have been deposited at Ifo General Hospital.

“Four persons sustained different degrees of injuries in both accidents including the driver of the car and have been taken to a hospital for treatments.”
