There is massive corruption in Presidential Villa – Lamido hits APC

Former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government of massive corruption, saying the ruling party has succeeded in impoverishing many Nigerians within three years.

The presidential aspirant, who stated this in Lokoja on Wednesday when he met with Kogi State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, asserted that the present APC government was demonized, alleging that massive corruption is going on in the Presidential Villa.

He alleged that the ruling party was a fraud, and does not have an agenda for the people being governed.

Lamido maintained that Nigerians must rise, unite, and rescue the country from injustice melted on Nigerians by the current APC government.

The aspirant, who is seeking the support of the state excos for the upcoming PDP convention, also said the current leadership in the country has succeeded in causing pains, and disunity among Nigerians.

His words, “I was ashamed when I entered Kogi State. When I look into the eyes of many Kogites and Nigerians, it was clearly written in their faces that all is not well.

“They said they are fighting corruption in this government which is not true. I can tell you that there is massive corruption at the Presidential Villa.

“What our party succeeded in building for our nation Nigeria in the last 16 years is currently under threat, all because of the APC-led government.

“PDP remains the party to contend with come 2019. The party respects the rights of every Nigerians unlike what we are having now.”

Lamido promised to run an all-inclusive government if voted into power come 2019.
