The secret to our win against Blackburn Rovers – Mourinho

Manchester United, Jose Mourinho, has hailed his players’ attitude as the reason why they defeated Blackburn Rovers 2-1 in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The home side went ahead through Danny Graham in the 17th minute, before Marcus Rashford equalized for United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic eventually came off the bench to win the game for Mourinho’s team.

“I think the attitude of every player was really good,” Mourinho told BT Sport.

“With a different attitude, we wouldn’t win. They gave us a really hard match and I am really happy with the players, of course.”

Mourinho also acknowledged the impact made by Ibrahimovic and Pogba, who were introduced just after the hour mark.

“I have important players on the bench and I can try to make them have an impact, but that doesn’t always work,” he said.

“I spoke with Paul and Zlatan and they came with the right attitude.” United will face Mourinho’s former club Chelsea in the quarter-final .
