Enyimba goalkeeper, Femi Thomas, has insisted that the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title is not done and dusted yet.
The Peoples Elephant defeated Kwara United on Wednesday, to open a five-point advantage over the nearest challengers, Giwa FC.
Thomas has however warned his team-mates not to get carried away, as anything could still happen.
“I don’t believe the title race is over like some people are saying,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We still have three important games to play and must take those games seriously as our rivals will do everything they can to upstage us.
“The win against Kwara United has put us in a very good position, but we have to keep working hard until we win the title.”
Enyimba will take on Abia Warriors in their next league game on Sunday.
