Ruth Anika – Reservations Lagos My name is Ruth Anika Osaodion. I have been a staff member with VIP Express Tourism Limited since 2011. I started as a Deck Administrator in the Warri branch and then Head administrator in Lagos office 2013. I am currently in the reservation department. Working with VIP Express Tourism Limited is like being with family as I enjoy working with the people here.

My passion for what I do with regards to travel is what has kept me in the company; my life is about tourism and the love for exploring the world and its beauty. The opportunity for growth is another advantage of working with this great company.

Miracle Oluchi Ogbonna – Data Capturer at the PHC Office I am honoured to say I work with VIP Express Tourism Limited. Working with VIP Express Tourism Limited is a dream come true, while at secondary school I always told my best friend that I want to work with an organization as an administrator. When I started as a cleaner, I had no idea of what an administrator was and what was required of an administrator.

I was inspired and motivated by my director who once told the cleaners ‘do your daily tasks like no other one can do it better than you’. I watched how Mr. Isaac Omagbemi, the accountant and staff handled tasks with so much dedication and passion that I got the courage to write a request for an opportunity in admin department.

I got the position and now I am a data capturer in the admin department. It gives me great joy to wake up in the morning and leave for work. VIP Express Tourism Limited has exposed me to learn new things all the time. VIP Express Tourism Limited gave me a great opportunity to grow from a cleaner into two other positions within two years. When I submitted a letter requesting another position in the organization, I was afraid of rejection because I had not yet acquired my BSc degree. The reverse was the case and that made me see more than a thousand reasons to run the race of achieving the organization goals. With the help of VIP Express Tourism Limited, I have been able to study towards acquiring my BSc degree in Public Administration of which I am currently in my final year writing a project on.

It’s been nine years and till this moment I have no regrets. In conclusion, I must say there is no better organization than VIP Express Tourism Limited. God Bless VIP Express Tourism Limited and everyone that has contributed to the growth of this Organization.

VIP Express Tourism Limited contributes to the economy of Nigeria; we have created a microeconomic eco-system. We make regular use of Nigerian accommodation in hotels when staff travel, we make regular use of Nigerian conference centres and facilities, all our supplier support is given to Nigerian businesses. Chances are that often, our guests will visit local souvenir shops and purchase something for themselves, family or friends.

In the end, what is great? At the end, when it comes to a company and its staff, the better the staff, the better the service and more customers will return for business. This will lead to the growth of the organisation, creating the need for more employees and more families will have a better life and opportunities.
