There is palpable tension in the ancient town of Gbongan, in the Ayedade Local Government Council of Osun State, as a ritualist’s den was on Monday discovered in the town.
This came barely a week after the discovery of one of such dens in Aagba, another town in Osun.
The discovery was made by residents of Idifa area of the town, where the building was located.
DAILY POST gathered that residents of the area became suspicious of the building as they continued to perceive strange odour coming from the area.
The building, a four-room bungalow was later searched, and to the chagrin of the inquisitive residents, three human heads and some other human parts of different degrees of decomposition were discovered
DAILY POST leant that one of the occupiers of the building, a man, was arrested by the residents, and subsequently handed over to the police.
The Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), SP Folashade Odoro, who confirmed the incident said thorough investigation was ongoing to apprehend other culprits in the case.
