Teenager’s hand cut off while stealing phone in Delta [PHOTOS]

A yet-to-be identified teenager in Delta State on Wednesday allegedly sustained serious injury while attempting to steal a mobile phone.

The teenager had allegedly slipped his hand through the open window of a home in the Sapele area of the state and tried to grab a phone that was lying there.

Unfortunately for him, the owner of the home saw his hand, picked up a cutlass and chopped off the teenager’s hand (photo) from the wrist region.

Reports allege the teenager absconded, leaving his hand behind.

Meanwhile, the boy was pictured in an unnamed hospital with his hand wrapped up.
