Teenager kills cousin on Easter Sunday

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested a teenager, Ifeanyi Ihejika, for killing his cousin Izuchukwu Ihejika, on Easter Sunday.
The teenager was said to have carried out the act in Amankpunato village in the Oji River Local Government Area of the state.
Ifeanyi reportedly shot his cousin with a locally made pistol, and upon seeing the damage done, he fled the scene of the incident.
Reasons for the evil act is yet to be established.
The Enugu State Police Command spokesperson, Ebere Amaraizu, while confirming the incidence, said the police upon arresting the suspect recovered the murder weapon.
He further stated that Ifeanyi claims he was under the influence of Satan.
Amaraizu stated, “The suspect is saying that the act is the handiwork of Satan.”
The police spokesperson also said the case is been investigated, adding that the corpse has been deposited in the mortuary in Achi Joint Hospital in the State.
