Taraba Governor poses with his new babies in German Hospital [PHOTO]

The ailing Governor of Taraba state, Danbaba Suntai, has been seen in a photo he took with his wife and their twin babies delivered on December 13.

The Governor who has been in a German hospital is receiving treatment for spinal cord injuries.

He was seriously wounded in October 2012, after his jet, a Cessna 208, which he was piloting crashed while approaching the Yola International Airport in Adamawa.

The five other injured passengers on board are presently at different stages of recovery.

Suntai in the picture is seen in suits, sitting on an orthopaedic chair. He is carrying one of the babies while his wife, Hauwa, held the other.

The picture depicts that Suntai has yet fully recovered; he looks frail and rather unexcited.

It is still unknown when he will return to the country, although his deputy has been sworn in as the acting Governor, pending his return.
