All is now set for the arrival of Governor Danbaba Sunatai of Taraba State, today (Sunday)after almost 10 months of being away from the country for treatment.
Reliable insiders said Suntai arrived London from New York on Saturday and was scheduled to leave London for Jalingo on Saturday night or early hours of Sunday (today).
It was learnt that the embattled governor left New York for London on a chartered flight on Saturday due to lack of seats on commercial flights.
The governor’s wife, Hauwa, had since arrived the country to prepare ahead of her husband’s arrival.
DailyPost reported last week that Suntai will depart the Sea View Hospital Rehabilitation Centre and Home, New York, on August 25.
Suntai spent four months at the rehabilitation centre after spending about six months in a German hospital following an air crash involving his private jet in Yola sometime last year.
Suntai was the pilot of his jet, Cessna 208, 5N-BMJ that crashed in Yola, Adamawa State on October 25, 2012.
