Tanzania confirms match schedule for AFCON qualifier against Super Eagles

The Tanzania Football Federation, has announced details for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between the Taifa Stars and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Venue for the game is the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam and kick off time is 4.30pm local time (2.30pm in Nigeria), on Saturday, September 5.

In a mail sent to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the TFF president, Jamal Malinzi, confirmed that the stadium has natural grass.

The match will be Sunday Oliseh’s first official outing as the new Eagles handler and he is expected to travel with five home-based players to Tanzania. They will be joined by 18 players who ply their trade abroad.

Nigeria are currently joint-top of Group G, along with the Pharoahs of Egypt, after they beat Chad 2-0 in Kaduna on Match Day 1.
