The Sokoto State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has appointed Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi as his Senior Special Assistant.
Dingyadi was a former Publicity Secretary of the state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The appointment was contained in a statement on Thursday signed by Professor Bashir Garba, Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
Other new Senior Special Assistants are: Mustapha Shehu Sokota, a former staff of the state broadcasting corporation and Abubukar Kaoje, a former management staff of the NTA.
The rest are Kabir Assada, media political analyst and publisher based in Sokoto, Muhammadu Abdullahi Sokoto and Prince Aminu Mohammed.
The appointment, according to the SSG, is with immediate effect.
