Synagogue tragedy: 66 corpses of South Africa nationals released

Sixty-six corpses of South African victims of the collapsed guest house, owned by the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos have been released.

The incident claimed nearly 100 lives, including Nigerian citizens.

Forty bodies were released to South Africa Government officials by the Chief Medical Examiner of Lagos State, Professor John Obafunwa at the General Hospital, Yaba.

26 others were released at Isolo General Hospital.

Two planes reportedly arrived the country from South Africa Friday midnight for conveying the corpses back home.
