Sweden coach says she is “not good enough” for Falcons

oach of the Swedish female national team, Pia Sundhage, has claimed she is “not good enough” to handle the Super Falcons.

There have been reports in the past few days, that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), are eyeing Sundhage to replace Edwin Okon, after the Falcons crashed out of the World Cup in Canada.

However, Sundhage herself is waiting on other results, to know if Sweden will make it to the next round.

The former USA coach has seen her ladies draw 3-3 with Nigeria, hold USA to a goalless draw and draw 1-1 with Australia, in their three group matches. And she feels she has not proven herself enough, to take over the African champions.

“You know what, today I don’t think I am good enough to coach in Nigeria,” she stated.

Sweden are waiting for the results of Group E and F games, to know their fate in Canada.
