Suspected teenage lesbians, robbers apprehended by Police in Lagos

Tragedy struck last week in Oto-Owori area, Ijanikin, Lagos State, after a member of the eminent Abogun family, confessed to have been introduced into cultism and lesbianism by a younger sister to her uncle’s wife.

The 16-year-old identified as Kemi, DAILY POST gathered, was caught with some items in an attempt to sneak out of the house for her cult activities. He consequently confessed to the parents. The astonished parents, who were still trying to recover from the shock following her confession, allegedly alerted the police.

During interrogation, the suspected Lesbian revealed that the items found with her were demanded by her cult members.

“I received a call from my friend, Tope, asking me to bring my red jacket, which is the cult uniform and a jack-knife for her. It was the same Tope who introduced me into lesbianism and cultism early last year.”

“Initially, she forced me into becoming her lesbian partner. She threatened to kill me if I refused, so I accepted under duress. When I became her lover, we took a blood oath as Tope used a blade to cut my hand and licked the blood. She also cut her hand and asked me to lick the blood. She said she must not see me with anyone, whether male or female but she was free to go out with others as she has other lovers. I have been her lover for over a year now and that was before I completed my secondary education in June,” she added.

“On Friday, between 7-8 pm,” she continued, “while I was attempting to sneak out of the house to meet her, I was waylaid by my brothers who checked the bag I was carrying and found the cult jacket and the jack-knife. They reported to my parents who demanded to know how I got those items.”

“After Tope introduced me to lesbianism, she forced me into their cult. The night I was initiated into Aiye cult, I was blindfolded. Members of the cult gave me a gun to take an oath, declaring that the cult was in high secrecy and I must not reveal anything about the cult to anyone, that if I did, the same gun I used to take the oath would be used to take my life. Afterwards, about twenty of the males present at the initiation, took turns in sleeping with me.”

“Tope, about two months ago, gave me a gun to keep for her because she said she couldn’t take it home but she later collected it and gave it to another member of our cult. I really don’t know what they use the weapon for,” she said.

Kemi also revealed that the red jacket which was the cult uniform was given to her by one Segun.

“He is the leader of the Aiye cult. Since I became a member, I haven’t been able to go anywhere with them because of how difficult it was for me to leave home as my parents don’t allow me out after 6 pm, and most of their activities are usually in the night. There was also a time they asked me to trail my elder brother because they said he is arrogant,” she added.

Tope, the supposed accomplice however confessed, defending herself, saying: “I am not a cultist and I never gave Kemi any gun to keep for me.”

According to the 18-year-old, Kemi is her childhood friend.

“I have known Kemi from my childhood. I am a salesgirl. I was arrested because the victim said I introduced her into cultism and lesbianism but I am not a cultist, and she didn’t give me any money.”

She confessed,“I have not seen Kemi for more than a month now, since my birthday which I celebrated on June 21.”

“Although they fired a gun at my birthday party, I don’t know who fired the gun but my friend, Samuel, was with a gun that night at my party, and I know that Samuel is a cultist. It was another cult guy that goes by the name Daddy that threatened that if I refuse to join their cult, he will deal with me.”

The Lagos state police command has now swung into action as thorough investigation is now being carried out.
