Suspected ritualists in the early hours of Tuesday beheaded a 60-year-old woman in Oghara Community, the home of former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, in Ethiope-West Local Government Area.
DAILY POST learnt that the suspected ritualists also cut off the woman’s vital organs and left with same.
The suspected ritualists allegedly attacked the victim who processes cassava into garri in front of her residence.
The incident has left indigenes, as well as residents of the Community in fear as they ponder over who the next person will be.
Contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa confirmed the report.
CP Mustafa said, “DPO has confirmed the report to be true. They have even buried the woman. Investigation is ongoing.”
