Suspected militant, General Aboy Francis Muturu who is alleged to be in custody of the Nigerian Army Defence Agency has sent his torn underwear to his lawyer, Mr. Omemiroro Maxwell Ogedegbe.
He sent it through a released suspect, simply identified as Musa, to prove that he is still alive.
Ogedegbe made this known in his facebook page, a day after Musa was allegedly released by the Nigerian Army and compensated with N100,000.
The legal practitioner claimed that Musa came to his office at Okoribi, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State with the torn boxer yesterday.
“Aboy Francis gave the said Musa his torn underwear (boxer) to give to his lawyer as a proof of the fact he is alive and in the DIA cell”, he said.
Mr. Ogedegbe stated that he quickly invited the wife of Muturu who confirmed the underwear at that of her hubby noting that, “Musa is willing and ready to act as a witness for Aboy Muturu.”
Muturu and others are currently at the underground cell of the Army over allegations that he is a member of the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA.
He has been kept incommunicado to his family members and his lawyer for months, creating the impression that he (Aboy) is dead.
