Suspected hoodlums kill teenager, abandon corpse on road in Lagos

The corpse of an unidentified teenage boy has been found abandoned on Olabode Street, Ikotun area of Lagos State.

Residents, who woke up to the sight on Wednesday were said to have reported to the police at the Ikotun division.

The state police image maker, Dolapo Badmus, who confirmed the incident to newsmen on Thursday said the teenager is suspected to have been killed by hoodlums as there were bruises indicative of cutlass injuries on his body.

“Nothing was found on the deceased to trace his residence and assailants.

“No suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder but investigation is still ongoing.

“The corpse has been deposited at the Yaba General Hospital morgue.”
