Suspected herdsmen have invaded Gwamba community in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
An eyewitness told Channels TV that the attackers stormed two villages in the community and opened fire on Tuesday morning.
Report has it that several houses were set ablaze, while the residents fled in different directions for safety.
Details of casualties was yet to be ascertained but the medium added in its report that security forces have been drafted to the area to restore peace and nomalcy.
