Super Falcons hammer Mali 8-0 to qualify for All Africa Games

The Super Falcons on Friday evening, beat their Malian counterparts 8-0, to qualify for the women’s football event at the 2015 All Africa Games, 9-1 on aggregate.

Liverpool Ladies forward Asisat Oshoala, was the star of the show, as she was virtually involved in all the goals Nigeria scored.

Desire Oparanozie opened the floodgates as early as the 3rd minute, before Francisca Ordega made it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Oshoala scored her first in the 36th minute and the Falcons went into the break 4-0 up, thanks to Oparanozie’s second.

Oshoala completed her brace immediately after the restart, before Ordega followed suit in the 62nd minute. Captain Evelyn Nwabuoku made it seven, before substitue Esther Sunday added another one on the scoreline.
