Super Eagles will beat Tanzania for Enyeama – Ahmed Musa

Stand-in captain of the Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, has vowed that the team will defeat Tanzania on Saturday, for team captain Vincent Enyeama, who recently lost his mother.

Musa has been promoted to captain, following Enyeama’s absence and the exclusion of John Mikel Obi from the squad.

“Enyeama is still the captain until when he decides to quit or retire from the game,” Musa told completesportsnigeria.com.

“He is a player I respect so much and I am only covering up for hIm in Tanzania and I will gladly hand over to him when he returns for the next game.

“We condole with him and we owe him the honour to win in Tanzania. We shall fight with all our might and ensure that we get a result in Dar Es Salam.”

When asked how he felt leading the antional team, the CSKA Moscow winger replied: “My joy will be complete when we win in Tanzania.”
