Super Eagles to leave for Ethiopia on October 11

The Super Eagles will depart Nigeria for their 2014 World Cup play-off game against Ethiopia on October 11, two days before the match.

The Ethiopian Football Federation has confirmed October 13 as the date for the match, but the Nigerian team will be preceded by an advance contingent of the Nigeria Football Federation, who have ensure that all is in place before the players arrive.

“The team will depart Nigeria on Friday, 11th October and there will be an advance party to leave several days before to sort out the team’s accommodation and other logistics,” NFF assistant director of media Ademola Olajire told Goal.

The second leg of the game will be played on November 16 in Calabar and the winner on aggregate will get one of five African tickets to Brazil.
