The Super Eagles are now the 14th best team in Africa, behind Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Congo DR, Guinea, Congo, Cameroon, Morocco and Mali.
Algeria (33rd) is the highest-placed country from the continent.
All teams in the Top 50 also maintained their positions this month.
