Super Eagles players will get three extra days of training, after the Confederation of African Football (CAF), approved that the game be moved to March 26.
The match was initially scheduled for March 23.
Spokesman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Olajire, says the new dates means the players will have enough time to prepare.
“It will give us room to prepare well for the match. With the new date, Oliseh and his boys would have close to one week of camping and this wouldn’t have been the case if we were to play on the 23rd (March), which is midweek,” Olajire said.
Egypt lead the group with six points from two games, while Nigeria is second with four points.
Only the group winners will advance to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
