Players and officials of the Nigerian national team, this morning landed in Addis Ababa, ahead of tomorrow’s 2014 World Cup qualifying first leg play-off against Ethiopia.
The chartered Ethiopian Airlines plane conveying the delegation, arrived at the Bole International Airport at 8.05 local time and the players were warmly received among the locals at the airport, as they made their way to the team bus.
Chants of ‘Moses’ and ‘Mikel’ was heard from the excited Ethiopians, as they struggled to take pictures with the Nigerian players. Members of the Nigerian supporters’s club also livened up the atmosphere with music.
