Super Eagles depart for Abidjan today

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, this morning left the country for Abidjan, where they will hope to seal their place in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) next year.

Stephen Keshi and his boys travel to the West African nation, with a comfortable 4-1 lead from the first leg and need to avoid defeat by more than three goals, to book their spot in the competition for the first time ever.

Gambo Mohammed is out of the squad, after suffering a muscle tear, while Keshi sticks with his regulars Sunday Mba, Godfrey Oboabona, Chigozie Agbim, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Daniel Akpeyi.
