Sunday Mba has spoken of his delight at being able to play again, after he featured in Enugu Rangers 1-3 loss to Recreativo Libolo, in their CAF Champions League clash.
The Super Eagles midfielder, who was given temporary clearance by Warri Wolves, scored the only goal for the Nigerian team but Dario’s brace and a goal from Camara, ensured the Flying Antelopes crashed out.
Mba was however pleased with getting some play time and his performance in Angola.
“I am happy with my performance against Recreativo Libolo. Not only because I scored the only goal for Rangers, but because I played well before I was substituted,” he said.
“It gave me a measure of confidence that I can be better than what I am presently since I have not played a competitive game after the Africa Cup of Nations.
“I thank God for everything. It means if I train harder and also played competitive games, I will do very well. The players did well in the match.
“Nobody can blame us. We have forgotten about the match and we are looking forward to the next team in the Confederation Cup where we will [now] play in.”
