Luis Suarez has agreed a new Barcelona deal that will keep him at Camp Nou until 2021.
The Uruguay striker joined the La Liga champions from Liverpool in 2014 and has won eight trophies since his transfer, – including La Liga, the Champions League, the Club World Cup and the European Super Cup.
Suarez has also scored 97 times in 116 fixtures.
Barcelona has confirmed that the contract will be signed at their official headquarters on Friday. The new deal has a release clause which is set at €200million.
“FC Barcelona announce that they have reached an agreement with Luis Suarez for the extension of the player’s contract until 30 June 2021.
“The buy-out clause in the contract is set at €200m”, a statement said.
