Further to our Press Release dated 11th February,2013 on the above subject matter, it is pleasing to report that the hullabaloo caused by the reported case of unwarranted attack on Mr. Adubi Akintoye a staff of LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Osogbo, by some people few days ago (Saturday February 9, 2013) has been resolved to an amicable level.
At a peace meeting brokered by prominent citizens of the State of Osun to assuage members of staff of the Hospital, the man allegedly involved in the attack episode, Dr Gbenga Ogunleye, Executive Secretary, Obokun Local Government, state of Osun regretted the unfortunate incident and pledged to cooperate with the security agency investigating the matter.
Meanwhile the matter has been charged to a court of law and now adjourned to March 1, 2013 for further hearing.
The purpose of this release is to assure the public that peace has since returned to the Hospital and all our services are running as expected.
