The Senator representing Southern Kaduna senatorial district, Danjuma La’ah, has called on the people of Gada-Biyu, Golkofa, Ninte, Andan and Ungwan Anjo to stay away from their farms until enough security are deployed to manned their communities.

Addressing some residents affected by the incessant suspected Fulani herdsmen in Gada-Biyu, the Senator said, “All of us in Southern Kaduna are seriously feeling the effect of insecurity in the area. I never expect this insecurity will escalate to this level.”

The Senator, who was shocked to see the situation of the affected communities, decried the level of security deployed to the area, saying they cannot man the communities targeted by the herdsmen.

La’ah urged the communities to protect themselves, adding, “Nobody will protect you, the securities operatives deployed to the area are just there to prove they are doing their official work.

“Manage the securities personnel that are with you, corporate with them and give them relevant information that will guide them.

“I feel your pains. Go to your farm so that you can eat but if the situation is not conducive for you to go to the farm, stay off please for now.”
