Super Eagles of Nigeria will defeat South Africa 2-0 when both teams clash in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying fixture at the BFN Stadium in Johannesburg.
This claim was made by respected sports journalist and presenter, Sunny Young, who works for the Sonny Side of Sports – Voice of America.
Speaking in an interview with Channels Television Sports Tonight program on Thursday night, Young said: “I think Nigeria will defeat South Africa on Saturday.”
“My prediction is Super Eagles 2 and South Africa 0,” he said.
Nigeria head to the game after defeating Libya 3-2 in their last game, while South Africa played a 1-1 draw with Seychelles at home.
Gernot Rohr’s side is on top of the group with nine points from four matches, while the Bafana Bafana is in second place with eight points from the same number of games.
