Six players from Chelsea, including favourite for Player of the Year, Eden Hazard, have been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.
Hazard, who has scored 18 times this season, is joined by Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic and captain John Terry. There is however no room for Cesc Fabregas, who leads the assists table with 16.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who has scored 31 times this campaign pairs Costa upfront. Alexis Sanchez, who has enjoyed a sparkling debut season in England makes the cut, alongside Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho, Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
The PFA will reveal the winners of the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards later on Sunday.
