Six aged men, Philip Akinyemi,75,Isaac Oloruntoba,65, Falade Oladeji,35,Abiodun Aguda,63,Falade Tope,45 and Falade Ajayi, 40 all appeared before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate Court over alleged destruction of a fence.
DAILY POST reports that the police prosecutor, Insp. Caleb Leranmo told the court that the accused committed the offence on Aug.30 at about 0200pm at Ise-Ekiti.
He alleged that the accused, on the said date,unlawfully destroyed a building fence of Mr Michael Adetiloye,which valued at the rate of N1M
According to him, the offence Contravened Section 451 of the Criminal Code, Cap C 16, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.
The accused pleaded not guilty before the court while their counsel, Mr Tunde Falade prayed the court to grant bail to them, adding that they were first offenders and promising that they would not jump bail.
Chief Magistrate, Adesoji Adegboye consequently granted bail to the accused in the sum ofN100,000 and one surety each.
He adjourned the case to Oct. 24 for further hearing.
