Head coach of Nigeria’s U-23 team, Samson Siasia, is expected to name at least six foreign-based players, for the South Korea 4-Nation Tournament.
According to Goal, Siasia has invited Taiwo Awoniyi who is on loan at Frankfurt, Anderlecht’s Imoh Ezekiel, FC Sfaxiens Oluwafemi Ajayi Junior, Sodiq Popoola of Seraing united, Clube Desportivo Nacional midfielder Usman Muhammed and team captain Azubuike Okechukwu of Malatyaspor in Turkey.
All the six players have already confirmed they will be available for the tournament, which kicks off May 28.
The competition will also have hosts South Korea, Denmark and Honduras.
