Interim coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, has picked six players who ply their trade in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), from the 22 who were in camp, for this weekend’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt.
The selected ones are Chibuzor Okonkwo, Etebo Oghenekaro, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Ifeanyi Mathew, Mathew Etim and Kalu Orji.
They will be joined by 18 foreign-based pros this week, with Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi already in camp.
Nigeria host Egypt on March 25, before travelling for the return leg on March 29.
