Samson Siasia has called up five more players, ahead of the return leg against Congo, in the African U-23 Championship final qualifying match.
Nigeria’s Dream Team recorded a 2-1 win over Claude LeRoy’s boys last weekend and will travel to Pointe Noire for the reverse fixture on August.
The invited players are overseas-based Aminu Umar and Abdullahi Shehu, Semiu Liadi of Warri Wolves FC, Ndifreke Effiong of Abia Warriors and Flying Eagles’ midfielder, Kingsley Sokari.
Siasia explained that they have been invited, to add bite to his attack and solidify the defence, as the team intensifies preparations ahead of the game.
He has however warned all players given permission to travel, to report unfailingly to camp by Wednesday or be dropped.
