Samson Siasia has praised his team, after they defeated Gabon 4-1 on Saturday in Libreville.
The head coach of Nigeria’s U-23 team, stated that all the intensive training and preparation was starting to pay off.
Junior Ajayi scored a brace as the Dream Team VI grabbed a commanding advantage, from the first leg of the 2015 All African Games qualifier.
Siasia however warned his boys not to get carried away, as there is still a lot of work to do.
“Having in mind that this team has been together for barely three months, Nigerians should appreciate what these boys did in Libreville,” Siasia said.
“I am really impressed with all of them, they played as a team, meaning that all the hard work we put them through in the past three months has not been in vain.”
