Head coach of Nigeria’s U-23 team, Samson Siasia, has invited Barcelona B defender, Godwin Ekpolo and Nathan Oduwa of Glasgow Rangers, ahead of the Africa U-23 Nations Cup.
Siasia had earlier called up 51 players to camp in preparation for the tournament in Senegal.
However, it appears the former Super Eagles handler, is looking for more players to build a formidable team.
“After the All Africa Games in Congo, I noticed some departments of the team that needed to be worked on, so I decided to extend my dragnet in search of players who have shown interest in playing for Nigeria in a bid to building a solid team that will be the pride of all Nigerians,” Siasisa was quoted by the Nigeria Football Federation website.
He also confirmed no player will leave camp.
Nigeria are in Group B with Egypt, Algeria and Mali.
