Shehu Sani reacts to foiled suicide attack at Yobe mosque

Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna central, has reacted to foiled suicide attack on Yobe mosque.

DAILY POST reports that a vigilant member of Gashua village in Gujba local government area of Yobe state on Sunday averted a devastating suicide bomb attack on a mosque.

This was confirmed by Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, Deputy Director Public Relations Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole in a statement.

Reacting, Sani commended the civilians that captured the female suicide bomber.

According to him, they deserve commendation by the federal government.

The Kaduna lawmaker on his Twitter page wrote: “Today’s good news that some courageous civilians in Gashua, Yobe state foiled a female suicide bomb attack on a mosque deserves commendation and appreciation.

“Not just whistle blowing, but a big reward for such act of bravery should be given by the FG to show appreciation.”
