Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members, Monday, bombed Alagarino village, Borno State, killing no fewer than seven people.
It was gathered that the insurgents planted explosives along the Damboa-Biu roads.
When the device detonated, at least three soldiers, one mobile police officer and three other people were killed.
A security source told newsmen that three soldiers survived the deadly attack.
He said, “It was a horrible accident. The vehicle was damaged beyond recognition. However, three soldiers survived it but they were seriously injured.”
