Seven persons were killed and several others injured in a fatal road mishap that occurred at Sagamu area of Ogun State on Tuesday.
The accident involved a bus allegedly belonging to Nana Travel Company, which was said to be travelling to the Eastern part of the country and another unmarked commercial bus fully loaded with traders’ consignment and other passengers heading towards Ibadan.
It was gathered that the unmarked vehicle was coming from Sagamu when it clashed with the one travelling to the Eastern part of the country.
The incident caused heavy traffic jam on the Sagamu-Ore Expressway, with motorists stranded.
The security agents at the scene of the accident declined to explain the possible cause of the mishap and the official casualty figures.
