Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has given his verdict on Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance in his first game for the club on Saturday.
Ronaldo joined Juventus last month from Real Madrid.
The Portugal captain made his Juventus debut yesterday – and manager Massimiliano Allegri has now opened up on his first match for the Old Lady.
The 33-year-old failed to find back of the net as he endured a quiet debut against Chievo yesterday.
Express Sports quoted the manager as saying, “Cristiano held up well on his debut, it’s a pity he didn’t score but he worked well with the team after only seven days together.
“I was struck by how at ease he was in the team, he was very happy with the win at the end, he had a good match.
“It’s a victory that we needed, to get us into the championship.”
